Discover the wildlife of the Eifel
About an hour's drive from EuroParcs Kohnenhof, you will find Eifel Zoo in Lünebach. Surrounded by the forests and hills of the Eifel, the zoo offers a unique opportunity to discover a wide variety of animals. Around 400 animals from approximately 60 different species live here, including both native and exotic species.
Get up close to the animals
One of the highlights is a ride on the nostalgic Eifel Zoo train. The train takes you through the wildlife area, bringing you close to a variety of animals. A special part of the ride is feeding the deer and bison, which come right up to the train. Children can also get up close to and feed goats, sheep and rabbits in the petting zoo.
A fun day out for the whole family
Besides the animals, the zoo offers several playgrounds and other attractions. Discover the miniature village with more than 30 buildings, admire the unique art and sculptures or let the children enjoy the playgrounds.
