Müllerthal
The Müllerthal region of Luxembourg is known for its impressive rock formations, breathtaking nature and waterfalls. It is not for nothing that it is called Little Switzerland. Experienced hikers can take the 112 km long Mullerthal Trail, which leads through the rolling landscape where forests and fields alternate.
Vianden
In the middle of the green, woody landscape of the Luxembourg Ardennes you will find the historical town of Vianden. The Our River runs right through the charming town and the boundary between nature and town is barely perceptible here. Visit the gothic churches, stroll through the narrow streets and admire the many monuments that the town is rich in. The real eye-catcher of Vianden is Castle Vianden on top of the hill, which has been in the hands of the family of Orange-Nassau since the 15th century. Glide up the Our valley in the chairlift and enjoy the view of the castle, the valley and the town.
Clervaux
The town of Clervaux lies in a deep, narrow valley on the banks of the Clerve River and is surrounded by enchanting forests. The townscape is reminiscent of a fairy tale with its striking white castle amidst the greenery. Particularly worth visiting is the Clervaux Abbey, where you can admire a beautiful church and browse around in a small abbey shop. If you want to see and know everything about the town, we recommend the 3-hour guided tour of Clervaux. From Clervaux, there are three hiking trails with breathtaking views of the city and the river.

Copper Mine Museum
A few years ago, part of the centuries-old Stolzembourg copper mine was reopened to visitors. Step into the miners' shoes for a day and discover the difficult conditions under which they had to work. Their greatest challenge was the recurring water that flooded the galleries.
AquaNat’Our
At AquaNat'Our in Hosingen, you can spend a day splashing, steaming, swimming, sliding and bubbling. Young and old alike will not get bored here with the many indoor pools. Outside, you will find Luxembourg's first natural swimming pond! Or just relax in the saunas and wellness pools.
As a guest of EuroParcs Kohnenhof, you can get free entry bracelets for 2 hours of free swimming. For this, we ask for a cash deposit of 10 euro per bracelet. You will get your money back on return.
Clervaux Castle
The Clervaux castle is not only a Romanesque castle from the 15th century and a beautiful sight at that. You will also find 3 different museums in this fairytale-like building. The Family of Man for example, an exhibition of 503 photos about what connects people. Or the exhibition of models of Luxembourg castles, where you can see the most important Luxembourg castles in miniature. In Musée de la Bataille des Ardennes Clervaux you can learn all about the Battle of the Bulge, a battlefield that took place here during World War II.
Nature Park Upper-Sûre
The ideal place to relax during the warmer days is the Upper Sûre Nature Park. The area around the turquoise-blue reservoir of Esch-sur-Sûre is characterised by rolling mountains, deep valleys and green forests. In addition to being a fantastic place for water recreation, the reservoir serves as the country's drinking water supply. The beautiful flora and fauna in the area make it a popular destination for 'green tourists'.
Echternach
The city of Echternach is seen as the capital of the Müllerthal region, also known as Luxembourg's Little Switzerland. Located on the Sûre river, Echternach forms the natural border with Germany. The medieval centre breathes history with its many impressive buildings such as the city wall, the courthouse and the Abbey of Willibrordus. Have a bite or a drink on a terrace, admire the fine collection of tools and weapons in the Prehistoric Museum or take a nice walk in the woods surrounding the city.
